Today a story came out on Mexico’s national television, of a woman who was imprisoned for shooting her husband because he beat her, and repeatedly sold her to her friends for sexual use and beat her if she refused. Well, she just killed him and went to prison.

In penitentiary, for the first time in her life – she was exposed to books of all kinds. She knew she did wrong but she had years to pay for her mistake and her repayment was to ready and study and enter university through the prison system to study to become a lawyer.

Really, the more you read of a similar subject, the faster you read that subject. The faster you read the subject that you are familiar with, the more that it becomes a part of your long-term memory. That’s why when you first study basic primary school math, and you follow it and study smart, and go all the way through college – math is a thing that you become accustomed to. If you’ve studied really smart, it’s really easy, and you can do some of it in your head without calculator or paper and pen.

With reading, it’s similar, yet different. Ways To Live A Happier Life

 

There are simply a lot of different things that can affect our mood: the weather, the people around us, news, etc. Thus, we should try not to be bothered by every tiny little thing happening around us. Instead, we should always find ways to brighten our mood. Below are some tips to help your get away from sadness.

1. Try to look at the brighter side of things. I know it might be hard to do so in difficult situations, but every situation exists something positive. Feel sad for losing your cell phone? May be it is an excuse for you to buy a new one. Got a parking ticket? At least it is just $25 but not a big amount.

2. Be thankful to things around – your health, career, friends, family, etc. They don’t come naturally, so don’t take them for granted. Be thankful.

3. A big laugh can make you feel good. It’s not necessary for you to attend a laughing class, though these classes really exist. Whenever you feel upset, try to laugh as loud as possible! Don’t let your anger cover your happiness. It maybe a bit strange in the beginning, but it really works.

4. Remember always to think of a positive result. There will be chances only when you are optimistic and you have hopes for it.

5. Make a book of funny quotes. Whenever I see a funny quote, I always write it down and put it into my collection. Whenever I feel sad or tired, I would read through those funny quotes again. Some of my favorite quotes include those written by Woody Allen and Homer Simpson.

6. Doing inverted yoga will be healthy for all your organs, and it can help boost your mood also. Try to do an easy pose, “legs up the wall”, you can handle it very quickly. Lie on your back with your butt up against a wall, swing your legs up so they are leaning against the wall. Holding that pose and have a relaxation as long as possible!

7. Give yourself a rest. Many people want to get things done as much as they can and they are usually lack of sleep. If you have this wrong practice that can endanger your health severely, you should stop right now and try to enjoy your life with your family and friends.

We need to face many difficulties everyday, life is never an easy task. But if you can keep up a positive mindset, and avoid being troubled by mistakes, you must be happier.
